We donated 60 pounds of filets, mostly snapper to a food pantry. The Lord is my help has a kitchen and also delivers hot meals to elderly and disabled.
The reception of the donation seemed more welcomed this time. Last time I don't think they even understood what we were donating.
This time there were many more questions and hopes for more deliveries. It's a gift to be able to give. The gift of giving brings joy that is everlasting.
Starving Charters was pleased to donate 147 pounds of yellowfin tuna and red snapper to the non profit organization, Feed My Sheep.
Thanks to Stephen Gravolet and his crew for donating their time and money to fund the mission on Friday.
On Sunday, Capt. Mike Mayronne donated his time to collect a mess of tuna as well.
